# Allow Access to Messages in Instagram
1. Open your Instagram application, and go to your profile next to likes. (Bottom right corner.)
2. Then, tap on Menu.
3. From the menu that appears, select **Settings****.**
4. Then from Settings, choose **Privacy** → and then **Messages**
5. There, Under Connected Tools, set **Allow Access to Messages to** ON**.**
